Keratos Location

Found in the Quarantine Chamber

Keratos Boss Location

Keratos is found in the last area, the Quarantine Chamber, in Ice Belt. From the Surface, take the elevator headed down for Quarantine. Near the end of the area, pull open the doors to the Quarantine Chamber where Keratos' boss arena is located.

Shoot Keratos' Eye

Because Keratos is protected by its carapace, your shots will bounce off its shell. Only shoot when Keratos reveals its eye behind its carapace. While this does not hurt Keratos, consistently shooting its eye will eventually bait it to expose its abdominal core.

Dodge Lunge to Shoot Abdominal Core

After shooting Keratos' eye enough times, Keratos will curl into a ball and lunge at you. Dash out of the way to cause Keratos to hit the wall, revealing its abdominal core. Shoot the core to finally deplete Keratos' HP. This is the only way to defeat Keratos.

Shoot Ice with Fire Shot to Stop Blizzard

Keratos can summon a blizzard by curling into a ball and spinning. Touching the ice around it will take out a chunk of your HP, so avoid touching it. To stop the blizzard, repeatedly shoot the ice with Fire Shot.

Dodge Projectiles to Avoid Freezing

Keratos' projectile attacks can cause you to freeze in place, prompting you to break free by mashing the A button. Dodge away from its projectiles to avoid being frozen and hit by succeeding attacks.
