List of Contents

The story begins with Samus joining an ongoing battle in the UTO Research Center located on the planet Tanamaar. The location has been targeted by the Space Pirates where we see Sylux, an old archrival, leading the group's invasion.
With their confrontation, a device malfunctions and the bounty hunters, alongside various galactic troopers, get transported to a planet called Viewros.

Upon entering the land of Viewros, Samus discovers a race called the Lamorn, former inhabitants of the planet with a single survivor who requests she carry on their legacy, having deemed her to be the Chosen One.

Samus' journey in Viewros focuses on regaining her suit upgrades and returning back home to Tanamaar. Along the way, she discovers various Galactic Troopers who were accidentally transported alongside her, and with them her archrival.
The main conditions for her return home are to collect the five master teleporter keys to access the teleporter, get the memory fruit to carry the Lamorn's legacy, and repair the Mech to remove the force field from Chrono Tower, all of which are scattered across the different biomes of the planet.

Once all of the conditions are met, Samus once again confronts Sylux who is waiting at the Chrono Tower having gained extra powers in Viewros.
The battle ends up transporting the two bounty hunters once again into a separate dimension where they would have a final duel. Sylux's suit malfunctions in this duel, to which Samus and the group presumed he died.
When the group activates the teleporter, however, Sylux reappears and delays them. All Galactic Troopers in the battlefield decide to hold him back, leaving Samus alone to escape the planet.

In the secret ending, Samus safely gets transported out of Viewros, though it is not known if the teleporter successfully teleported her to Tanamaar.
In this planet, she plants the Memory Fruit and hangs the token of the Galactic Troopers, a memento of her experience in Viewros.

If you have the game at 100% completion rate or purchased the Sylux amiibo, you can unlock a short movie that covers Sylux's backstory and his first meeting with Samus.
