Team Levels are the way to level up all your characters simultaneously in Destiny: Rising. Replacing the Closed Beta individual levelling system, learn what Team Levels are and its benefits here!
List of Contents

You can rank up your Team Level by simply playing through the Main Campaign missions. You can also check how much Team XP you'll gain in the Quest Reward Preview.
Campaign Missions List and Quest Walkthrough

You also gain Team XP from Character Quests. These quests are unlocked as you progress through the story and meet the characters in-game.

Playing through the different game modes in the Adventures tab can also help increase your Team Level. This section contains a variety of challenges you can try and even repeat.

Exploring Jiangshi Metro can also earn you Team XP. Make sure to visit this area once it’s unlocked to increase your Team Level.

In the Adventures tab, you can also participate in Gauntlet: Onslaught mode to earn more Team XP. Since this is a late-game feature, make sure to build your characters first before attempting it.
Legendary Campaign Weekly is another way to raise your Team Level in the late game. Be sure to complete these once you’ve progressed far enough.
In the late game and higher levels, you’ll mostly be focusing on upgrading and enhancing your characters and weapons. Be sure to save any materials you have for enhancement to gain a better advantage as you progress further.

By raising your Team Level, you gain various attribute boosts at each level. These bonuses specifically increase your base health, shield, defense, skill strength, and power.
Power plays a huge role in the game, and the more you have, the better your position will be, especially in the late game.
This means you should always try to rank up your Team Level and meet the recommended power in each mission, since the further you progress, even the smallest margin can determine the difficulty of the challenge ahead.

From Level 40 onwards, you’ll also gain access to several unlockables. These are mostly new game modes and enhancements that further improve your characters.

Team Levels is the new way to level up your characters in Destiny: Rising. This allows players to experiment with different characters immediately and not get stuck with a slow individual levelling process.
Power progression will now be based under your Team Level, which players can level up through experiencing the story or exploring the world.
Closed Beta Test Carry Over Guide

Day 1 players can only reach Team Level 20 at release. However, any additional experience gained will be saved and immediately applied once the server unlocks higher levels later on.
