Ikora will mostly be reliant on her weapons during PvP since it can be hard to land abilities on skilled players. Also, unfortunately, she's very squishy, so there's not much point in trying to bulk her up, and it'll be better to invest in her weapons' damage output instead.

Ikora is already great at destroying waves of enemies with her abilities, so it's recommended to improve her weapon damage instead. However, if you really want, you can still use an ability-focused Artifact set instead.

・Need to be more accurate than usual since it has a smaller Blast Radius than most other Rocket Launchers.

HON2 Tutum HON2 Tutum'Alik ・Well balanced weapon that's easy to use.
・Effective range buff isn't that useful on rocket launchers.
・Needs good Traits to maximize potential.

Ikora doesn't have that many weapon options, which thankfully makes it easy to choose which ones to use. Present Fleet is the only high-tier Primary that she can use, which in turn makes Two-Tailed Fox the easy choice for her Heavy.

HON2 Tutum HON2 Tutum'Alik ・Well balanced weapon that's easy to use.
・Effective range buff isn't that useful on rocket launchers.
・Culture Clash's Perk Upgrade is very useful against scenarios with Fallen or Cabal enemies.

Similar to PvP, Ikora's build in PvE is Present Fleet and Two-Tailed Fox since she has very limited options. Although, they're still very strong weapons in their own right, and you also get the Present Fleet for free as part of the story!

・Melee characters often don't want to always be airborne, and ranged characters have other ways to stay safe.

・Less effective in PvP where players can spread out.
・Not as useful in teams or scenarios where you can stay safe.

・Relatively strict requirements to get heals.
・In most cases, there are better ways to receive heals and stay alive.

Unfortunately, Ikora is very easy to kill if she doesn't land her abilities, so it's recommended to focus on increasing her weapon damage instead. Also, her weapon types are naturally really good for PvP, so it's worth investing in them anyway.

However, as a note, you can also use an airborne set instead, but you are more susceptible to getting killed by good players who can pick you off mid-air.

Since Ikora is already good at killing enemies with her abilities, it's recommended to use her Artifact set to improve her weapon damage instead. However, it's still a good option to use an ability-focused set instead if you prefer spamming her abilities over using her weapons.

・ Can pick off enemies that survive Ikora's AoE damage.
・ Preferred support depends on the Artifact set used since Tan-2 has a hard time healing an airborne Ikora.

These are some of the characters that pair well with Ikora in PvP game modes. However, as a note, they're good specifically with Ikora, and other characters may be better teammates depending on who else is on the team.

・ Can easily finish off enemies that survive Ikora's AoE.
・ Gwynn's good at bursting down tougher foes, which Ikora struggles at without her Super.
Tan-2Tan-2 ・ Always useful to have a healer in case Ikora gets low on HP.
・ Can use his Super to further enhance Ikora's damage output.
・ PvE Ikoras tend to be more stationary, making Tan-2 better than Attal.
KabrKabr
JolderJolder 		・ Can put up a barrier that Ikora can safely sit behind.
・ They both can have good single-target damage, which Ikora struggles with.
・ Jolder's good at drawing aggro, but Kabr has a lower cooldown barrier.
