Destiny Rising - PVP Guide

Players can join PVP modes through the Activities tab and choosing which mode they want to play in Destiny: Rising. Learn how to join PVP, and all PVP modes available in the game here!

How to Join PVP

Choose Through the Activities Tab

Activities Menu
Players can join PVP modes by clicking and matching on the respective Activity they want to play in the Activities tab.

These Activities are unlocked while you play through the main campaign so make sure to go through the story to unlock all modes!

All PVP Modes

Shifting Gates

Shifting Gates
Shifting Gates is a team-based PVP and PVE mode where 6 fireteams of 3 will compete to collect the most data points.

Defeat regular enemies and Prime Anomalies to get Data Points, while also defeating other competitors to steal their collected points.

Shifting Gates will be unlocked after completing the sidequest Foresighted Research, and Chapter 1-2 of your Handbook.

Shadowshaper Duels

Shadowshaper Duels
Shadowshaper Duels is a PVP and PVE card game where players will have to command their cards and build the best team to overpower your opponent.

Build your deck and strategically place your cards to earn you the highest attack number at the end of 4 rounds!

Shadowshaper Duels is unlocked after players complete Chapter 2-3 of your Handbook.

Fight NPCs to Receive Rewards

Shadowshaper Duels PVE
PVE Shadowshaper Duels will net you Lumia Leaves and additional cards to add to your deck so make sure to duel anyone marked on your map!

Shadowshaper Duels Guide

Iron Bar

Iron Bar
Iron Bar is a team-based PVP mode where 2 fireteams of 6 fight to claim the most territories on a map while defeating enemy Lightbringers.

This mode is only available from Fridays to Sundays so make sure to match up to earn rewards like a random Rare Weapon and Bright Dust!
