Play as Tan-2
Despite Wolf being the required character for this mission, you will actually play as Tan-2 for the duration of the quest. Wolf will be your companion, but you will be controlling Tan-2.
You do not need to own Tan-2 in order to complete this quest. You will be given a trial version of Tan-2 to use when you start the character story mission.

Around 15 Minutes for the Quest
The Tan-2 quest is a long mission that may take around 15 minutes to complete. Make sure you have enough time to dedicate to this mission before you start it.
How to Unlock the Tan-2 Quest
Complete To the Other Side
The Tan-2 character quest becomes available immediately upon completing To the Other Side. Talk to Tan-2 at the Aeronautic Campus to start the Tan-2 mission.
Tan-2 Quest Walkthrough
Enter the Lanyue 5 Factory
| 1 |  Follow Wolf to a hole in the building. Then, talk to him. |

| 2 |  Explore the Rocket Silo Control Room. Defeat the enemies blocking your way. |
| 3 |  Follow the path on the side of the control room to head to the communications hub. You can either avoid or defeat enemies along the way. |
| 4 |  Defeat the Fallen at the communications hub. Target the Experimental Servitors first to remove Molkrul, the Engineer's immunity to attacks. |
| 5 |  Follow Molkrul to the Rocket Silo. Activate the elevator to reach the top. |
| 6 |  Pass the test in the testing room. Defeat enemies, and use Tan-2's healing ability to get through it. ▶︎ All Relic Abilities |
| 7 |  Continue along the path to pursue the Engineer. Shoot at the terminal blocking the door to enter the boss room, and face Molkrul, the Engineer once again. |
| * |  During the fight, destroy the terminals on the sides of the room to stop the room's AI from creating a more hostile environment. |
| 8 |  Once Molkrul has been defeated, examine the terminal. After some cutscenes, the quest will end. |
Tan-2 Quest Boss
Molkrul, the Engineer
You will face Molkrul twice during this quest. For both encounters, it is recommended to take down surrounding enemies first.
In the first encounter at the communications hub, Molkrul will be protected by Experimental Servitors, making him immune to attacks. Take down the two Experimental Servitors before you try to shoot at Molkrul.
During the final boss fight, take down the terminals on the sides of the room to prevent you from taking damage from the environment. Once there are no more disruptions, you can freely target Molkrul until he's defeated.
