Jolder is really good at staying alive thanks to the amount of overshields she can gain. However, in PvP game modes, you want to make sure her build also has some damage output so that she can kill enemies as well.
As a note, even if Swords are harder to use in PvP, Jolder still wants to get in melee range so that she can cause chaos and deal as much damage as possible with her Heavy weapon.

Jolder is one of the best characters in PvE since she can easily hold key areas with her Super, and she can generate a ton of overshields to stay alive. Because of this, she'll want to use an overshield-centric build to further enhance the innate survivability of her kit.

Jolder's Primary is pretty flexible, since the best option depends on the enemies faced, but generally, The Huckleberry is used for its damage output and reliability. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a ton of good Sword options since it's harder to use in PvP, and most of them don't have good AoE or gap-closing options.
However, if you can consistently get in melee range to kill enemies, then you can opt to swap to a Mythic Primary instead and use the Partridge Sky for a higher damage output.

In PvE, Wolfpack is used for the extra movespeed because it helps with running from enemy to enemy. As for Swords, Partridge Sky is the overall best choice because of its Heavy Attack and combo potential.
However, as a note, you can also run a build with Riskrunner and any Mythic Sword since the Riskrunner is a really strong gun if you manage to activate its passives.

Jolder already has a ton of survivability in her kit, so it's recommended to distribute some power towards her weapon damage in PvP to help her kill enemies. However, if your team needs you to be super tanky, you can opt for a more balanced or defensive build instead.

Jolder's kit specializes in gaining overshields to keep her safe during combat. To further enhance this, it's recommended to use an overshield set so that she can become even tankier and so that Supports can focus on healing other characters who need it more.
Also, as a note, if your team is really good at keeping each other alive, you can opt to go for a more offensive or balanced set instead to help take down tougher enemies, like bosses.

Tan-2 is one of the best characters that pair well with Jolder in PvP game modes. However, as a note, they're good specifically with Jolder, and other characters may be better teammates depending on who else is on the team.
