Kabr's barrier isn't as useful in PvP game modes, so he'll be more reliant on his rapid-fire weapons instead. However, it should be noted that it can still be worth building around his barrier, if it's used under the right conditions.

The main point of Kabr is to use his barrier to protect himself and his allies. You'll want to use a build that supports this playstyle, as well as use weapons that allow you to shred through enemies safely behind the barrier.

Kabr will be more reliant on his weapon in PvP, and Gallows is the best gun for this since it launches homing grenades, as long as you hit your shots. However, it's also viable to use Furies III and Scorched Earth instead if you don't want to use Gallows.

・Be careful of high damage attacks that can destroy your shield.
・Is a lot worse on teams that don't want to stand still.

・Has a faster reload speed compared to most other Machine Guns.

For Kabr's PvE build, the choice of Exotic is more flexible, but Heir Apprent is chosen because it can shred through tougher enemies and bosses. However, if you prefer to use a different Exotic instead, then you can do so as well.

Unfortunately, the main selling point of Kabr, his barrier, isn't that great since it's easy to walk around. Instead of focusing on his barrier, Kabr's PvP build should revolve around his rapid-fire weapons instead.

Although, it should be noted that if you can find a good spot for Kabr to hold with his barrier, or if the enemy team has powerful but telegraphed projectiles, then it's worth using a barrier-focused build instead.

In PvE game modes, the main purpose of using Kabr is to use his Signature 2 to put up his barrier. This means you'll want to use an Artifact set that keeps him alive and makes his barrier harder to kill. Although, if you want, you can use a rapid-fire set instead to help him shred through tough enemies and bosses.
