Shadowshaper Duels Best Deck

Best Deck: Fallen Deck

Unrelenting Captain x1 Marauder x2 Ketch x1 Servitor x2
Elite Sniper Vandal x2 Grenade Dreg x2 Resilient Grenade Drag x1 Tracer Shank x1
Elite Walker x2 Vanok x1

The Fallen Deck offers the most structure and support for Shadowshaper Duels. This deck focuses on dealing damage to enemies while also buffing your own cards.

It includes powerful cards such as Vanok, which grants +2 Power to all your Fallen cards on the field, with all your cards being Fallen, this bonus applies universally, making it extremely effective. Elite Walker is also a great card which deals -2 Damage to 2 of your enemy's units every after your turn!

Fallen Deck Best Combos

The Fallen deck revolves around two powerhouse setups: the Ketch combo or the Elite Walker + Servitor combo . Whichever cards land in your opening hand usually dictates your game plan.

If you draw into Ketch early, you’ll want to lean into swarming with Fallen Dregs, while an early Servitor sets you up for devastating end-of-turn damage with Elite Walkers. Both paths are strong, so your strategy depends on which combo pieces show up first.

Vanok + Ketch + Grenade Dreg + Unrelenting Captain Combo Strategy

VanokKetchGrenade DregUnrelenting Captain

Start by setting up Grenade Dreg , which gains +1 Power each time a unit is summoned on its row. Follow this with Unrelenting Captain, which boosts every Fallen Dreg on the field by +1 Power. Summoning the Captain on the same row also gives Grenade Dreg an extra +1, bringing it to 2 Power.

Next, play Ketch, which brings out 4 Fallen Dregs. This triggers multiple effects: Grenade Dreg gains +5 Power for the new summons, Resilient Captain buffs the 4 Fallen Dregs to 2 Power each, and the row now totals 19 Power.
Finally, drop Vanok , who gives every Fallen unit on the board +2 Power. With this, Grenade Dreg rises to 9, Resilient Captain to 3, Ketch to 5, and the 4 Dregs to 16 combined.

Elite Walker + Servitor Combo Strategy

Servitor Elite Walker

Start by summoning a Servitor early, since its effect gives all your units +1 Damage. This bonus applies globally, meaning every attack and passive damage effect gets stronger.

When you play an Elite Walker (normally deals 2 damage to 2 random enemy units at the end of your turn), the Servitor boost raises this to 3 damage instead. If you manage to summon two Elite Walkers back-to-back on turns 4 and 5, each one will deal 3 damage twice, stacking for a brutal -6 damage to 4 random enemy units at the end of every turn.

With Servitors enhancing your field and multiple Walkers in play, this combo can quickly wipe out your opponent’s board and snowball into a game-winning setup.

Budget Deck: Power Focused Deck

Zhiyao Grenade Drag Ketch Elite Vandal
Morgran Chinnawat Zhong Wenbin Sparrow
Lady Skorri Mishra Attal

If you lack resources to build the Fallen Deck or any other deck, you can create a budget deck that focuses on increasing your own Power rather than destroying the opponent’s board, since the latter requires more resources.

Use your default deck as a starting point and upgrade gradually. You can refer to the table above for which cards are a must have!

Staple Shadowshaper Duels Cards

Staple Cards to Any Deck

Zhiyao

A 1-cost card that forces your opponent to avoid the front row for 3 turns because whenever they put a card there, Zhiyao gains +1 Power, helping control your opponent’s positioning. Pair with Resilient Grenade Dreg for maximum disruption.

Resilient Grenade Dreg

Forces your opponent to avoid the back row by dealing -2 Power to cards summoned there. Summon this card in the back row to activate its effects for 2 turns.

Exploder Shank or Cursed Thrall

Both deal -2 Power to adjacent enemy cards. They position themselves in the opponent’s back row and explode at the start of your next turn.

Grenade Dreg

Gains +1 Power for each unit on its row. Its effect works in any deck, making it a versatile staple.

Wolf

Destroys any enemy card with 5 or more Power. Activates only if you have more than 5 units on the field, making it a devastating mid-to-late game card.

Tracer Shank

A default deck card that deals -3 Power to any enemy card. Effective against early-game Zhiyao. Place it in the back row to maximize its effect.
