Destiny Rising - How to Unlock Talent Trees

You can unlock a character's Talent Tree in Destiny: Rising by getting a duplicate character in a draw and using their Light Crystal to unlock the Talent Tree's node. Learn how to unlock Talent Trees and use a Light Crystal to unlock Talent Tree nodes here.

Get a Copy of the Character from a Draw

Get a Copy of the Character from a Draw

To unlock a character's Talent Tree, you need to first obtain a duplicate copy of the character from a banner. This will convert the character into a Light Crystal which you can use to upgrade the node on their Talent Tree.

Use the Light Crystal to Unlock a Talent Tree Node

Once you have a character's Light Crystal, navigate to the Character screen and click on the Talent Tree then click on Activate to unlock the character's node with the Light Crystal.

4-Star Legendary Characters require a total of 12 Light Crystals to fully unlock their Talent Tree, whereas 5-Star Mythic Characters require 6 Light Crystals to completely unlock their Talent Tree.
