Confined Axion When a combatant is confined, they take higher long-range weapon damage from the wielder for the next 10s. Combatants take + 36% damage at a range of more than 20 m, and +57.99% damage at a range of more than 30 m. |
|  Rampaging Radiation Casting abilities grants the rampage effect: lose 12% of max health once every 2s and deal +8% damage for 10s. Stacks 3x. (this effect can only take effect when health is greater than 30%.)  Inverted Survival Gain +24% reload speed and +5% movement speed for every 25% health missing.  Resonating Transit When both equipped weapons are the same element, they deal +33% elemental damage to matching shields. |

This is the general tier list for all the Artifacts in the game. It should be noted that rankings are based on the Artifact by itself, and some Artifacts may become significantly better when used by specific characters or builds.
Artifact Ranking Criteria
|
Artifacts in the S-Tier are strong, regardless of game mode or character using it. It's recommended to farm for these first since you can put them on any character before you start farming for more optimized builds. |

|
A-Tier Artifacts are very good, but are just outside the S-Tier. Also, Artifacts in this tier can be comparable to those in S when used with the right character or build. |
|
Artifacts ranked in the B-Tier are okay, but can't compete with those in S or A. However, they can still be very useful or even match A and S-Tier Artifacts when used in the right builds. |
|
C-Tier Artifacts should be avoided unless you want to use them, or they have a niche purpose in a build. Generally, though, these will be dismantled in to upgrade fodder unless you want to keep them for future characters that may be able to use them. |

The best Artifacts to use in general are those in the S and A-Tier. However, with certain characters and builds, Artifacts in the lower tiers can compete with A and S-Tier Artifacts.
