This is a beginner's guide for all lightchasers which aims to provide tips and tricks to help you get your footing in Destiny: Rising! See the beginner’s guide here and all the tips and tricks you need to make the most of your gameplay.

While getting started, you'll want to focus on learning and adapting to this new world. Master all the game's features as quickly as possible and collecting important resources needed to improve your character roster.
Finish the Main Quests
Quests and missions in Destiny: Rising allow you to progress the story, learn more about characters, and get rewarded with items.
Each chapter consists of primary quests and campaign missions that you need to complete in order. At the end of each chapter is a Radiant Path quest that requires you to complete priority objectives for the chapter, which can include participating in non-story activities.

Connect Your Favorite Controllers
Destiny: Rising also allows players to play using various controllers! You can use either a PS5 controller or an Xbox controller on any mobile platform.

Understanding Team Level Mechanics
Team Level is a great way to level up your characters and not get stuck in slow progression as you play. It’s also a great way to get acquainted with all the available characters!

If you want to get new characters to use, you will need to pull on one of the game's gacha banners. As of now, there is no other confirmed way to get characters outside of the free Kabr and Ikora, so if you want to get someone new to play with, you'll need to test your luck and pull on gacha banners.

Do Dailies and Spend Your Energy
You can accept Daily Commissions from Mu Ying in Jiangshi Metro once the World Map is unlocked.
Bounties are a daily activity that requires you to complete a certain challenge in-game, such as defeating a certain amount of enemies with a certain damage type such as Scorch or Precision Damage.
Activities that Require Pinnacle Energy

You can participate in these activities daily but they require Pinnacle Energy to get the best rewards. You can still participate in these activities, but the rewards you'll get are basic compared to the rewards pool you'll get from spending Pinnacle Energy.
Claim Battle Pass Rewards
Players can level up their Battle Pass by doing Weekly and Act quests.with a Weekly XP Cap of 1200 XP.
Weekly Quests are small goals completable by playing the game everyday. These can range from using different types of characters on adventures, completing commissions or completing Shifting Gate levels.
Battle Pass End Dates and Rewards
Use Your Free Pulls Wisely
You can get free Bon Voyage Charms and Lumia Leaves by participating in various events and exploration rewards, and completing the main story.
Make sure to spend your Lumia Leaves on the Limited Banner since it is easy to get a ton of Standard Bon Voyage Charms just by playing.
Best Character Tier List for PvP and PvE
Check for New Codes Regularly
Redeem codes are one-time-use codes that grant exclusive in-game items such as emblems, cosmetics, or event rewards. These codes are usually distributed through special events, collaborations, or promotions like the Bear the Light event.

Participate in Events
Once you get your characters up, make sure to participate in events for rewards like Lumia Leaves, Equipment, and Character Progression Materials! These will help you further bolster your roster so you can take on harder challenges as time goes on.
