Chat Feature Settings

To turn off the chat, head to Settings and open the Privacy Settings. From there, go to the Miscellaneous tab and scroll down to find the Chat Features option. Disable Chat Features to turn off the chat.

If you don’t want to fully turn off the chat but still want to chat with certain players, go to Personal Info and change your Privacy Settings. This will limit how others see you, including your online activities and visibility.

Casual Chat

You can use the Casual Chat to send messages to all players online. It’s a good way to ask questions or look for players to team up with in any of the available multiplayer modes.

Mentor Channel Chat
Mentor Chat is mostly used for invites from high-ranking players. If you want to join challenging game modes, you can find players to chat with here.

Nearby Chat

Nearby Chat

Nearby Chat allows you to talk to players around your location in-game. You can turn off this chat in the Privacy Settings if you don’t want to interact with nearby players.

If you have an existing group, you can also chat with them there. You can use this to invite them to PvP game modes or any other activities to play together.
