How to Deal With Yateveo

You can deal with Yateveo with only a few ways possible that are listed below:

Grenades

Grenades are very powerful in this game. There are three types of grenades that have their own unique effect, but only two of them can affect Yateveo. You should only use Grenades on Yateveo if it grabbed a Survivor using its Devour skill. Only Hand Grenades and Molotovs are effective in freeing other Survivors from Yateveo.

Go Away and Loot the Area

Dealing with Yateveo is very tricky since it can block Survivors from reaching major objectives in an Area. The best way to deal with Yateveo is to just run away from it and loot the Area. Since Yateveo cannot move, it cannot chase you, and the Mastermind will not be able to do anything else if it is controlling Yateveo at the moment.

If you are time constricted, then it is best to prepare a few grenades to save your teammates from its Devour and force your way to the objective.

Yateveo Notable Moves

Devour

Yateveo will grab a Survivor with one of its vines and proceed to slowly devour the Survivor. You can save them by throwing a Hand Grenade or a Molotov and move away from it.
