This guide will show you how to combine items in Resident Evil 3 Remake. Read on to learn how to use the inventory to combine items for stronger effects, create something new, or simply to free up space!
List of Contents
To combine items, you will have to first open your inventory. From there, highlight the items you wish to combine. Confirm your selection for the sub-menu to appear. Choose the combine option. It will have the + icon next to it.
After choosing combine, other items that you can combine with will stay highlighted. Select one of those items and you will combine them!
An alternate way of combining is by selecting and moving an item to another item's slot. If the other item is combinable, the option to combine them will appear. Select it to combine them.
It is important to combine items, as it will either create a more effective new item or improve an item. It is also possible to combine two stacks of ammunition if they are not at the max amount. Combining items also has the bonus of freeing up space in your inventory!
All combinable items can only be combined with specific items. To check whether or not they can be combined with anything, simply select an item and choose to combine it.
If all the other items are grayed out and nothing is highlighted, it means there are no items that can be combined with the selected item.
