Valerie is the main healer of the team because of her two powerful abilities, Modified First Aid Spray and Biochem Expertise. It is best that you hide behind your teammates with higher health and support them if they get attacked.
Constantly use Survival Instinct to locate items and mark zombies that can potentially attack your teammates to prevent time loss. Also, make sure to you check if there are any dropped items after killing an enemy.
You should always use Valerie's skill Survival Instinct whenever it is off cooldown. Since it only requires 30 seconds to reactivate and is recharging while the objects are marked, you should use this skill as much as possible to continuously mark everything in your path.
In the case that you and your team are being swarmed by zombies or being attacked by a Bioweapon, you can use your Modified First Aid Spray to heal your teammates while battling the Bioweapon to heal the damage the Bioweapon deals.
The Modified First Aid Spray can also revive your downed teammates if most of them have been downed by zombies or a Bioweapon.
The recommended skill variants you should equip should rotate around Valerie becoming a support that can benefit the team the most.
Below are the skill variants you should equip to maximize Valerie's potential:
Fever Skill: Enhancing | Restores nearby teammates' health for a set duration and gives them the effects of a Yellow Herb. |
---|---|
Personal Skill: Creatures | Marks all nearby items, objects, creatures, and Bioweapons,. Increases damage marked targets receive from all sources. |
Passive Skill 1: Healing Aura | Boosts the effect of all healing items for Valerie and nearby teammates. |
Passive Skill 2: Surplus | Causes killed creatures to possibly drop Grenades or Flash Grenades. |
The recommended equipment you should have revolves around being the healer of the team.
Below is the equipment you should have to make Valerie a strong healer:
Bulletproof Vest I-III | Increases maximum HP depending on which level is equipped. |
---|---|
EMT License I-III | Decreases how much time it takes to revive defeated teammates depending on which level is equipped. |
AED Device | Slightly increases the speed at which you revive teammates and the effect healing items have on your character. |
Army Boots | Slightly increases movement speed. |
Samuel Jordan | January Van Sant | Valerie Harmon |
Tyrone Henry | Becca Woolett | Martin Sandwich |
Jill Valentine | Daniel Fabron | Annette Birkin |
Alex Wesker | Ozwell E. Spencer | Nicholai Ginovaef |
There were actually buffs for survivors before that update. It actually makes sense if they nerf some of them to make the game more balanced.
