How to Deal with Hunter Betas

Tips when Dealing with Hunter Betas

  • Use heavy weapons and target the Hunter's face.
  • Stagger the Hunter by shooting its legs.
  • Beware of its instant death attack.
  • Grenade Launcher and Shotgun

The Acid Rounds of the Grenade Launcher and the Shotgun are the best weapons to use to deal with the Hunter. You can use both of these to quickly kill the Hunter by shooting at its face.

    Shooting the Legs

It is possible to heavily stagger them by shooting their legs. The easiest way to do this is to attempt a perfect dodge and use the slow motion during that time to aim for its legs.

Just blow them up with a grenade or explosive rounds. Its a one-shot kill on Normal difficulty, probably not much more on the higher ones. Saves a lot of ammo if you keep some rounds stockpiled for this segment.

You should just get all of them haha. They have different uses but I think you'll use them all.
