This page contains information on how long it can take to beat Resident Evil 3 Remake. Read on to learn how many hours does a playthrough take and what you can do after completing the game.
It will take on average around 6 hours to complete Story mode the first time on "Standard" mode and without completing everything. Can be finished earlier if played on "Assisted" and finished later if played on "Hardcore".
If you are having trouble completing the game, check out our Story walkthrough guides:
If you have already finished Story mode once, you can finish another playthrough in 4 hours or less. Now knowing the story and item positions, you can skip cutscenes and focus on playing through the game.
If you try to complete everything in the game getting 100%, it can take around 13 hours on average. Getting 100% would mean completing all the records and buying all the items in the shop.
This can take a while to complete. Check out our 100% guide to make this task quicker and easier.
You will unlock the shop after completing Story mode the first time. The shop contains items and weapons that can be bought with points that you earn through completing records.
These items can help through playthroughs and are usually recommended to have to complete harder difficulties and getting S rank in them.
Check out what you can buy in the shop with this guide:

Resident Evil/Biohazard series has always been about "rush" since the 1st that you could complete in like 2h or so and getting rewarded for it... You're blind if you never realized it. Also, you can't rush it if you don't enjoy it... I understand that you may not like to rush a game, but don't pretend that rusher/speedrunner don't enjoy a game by their way of playing it...
>>3 ikr? i mean developers put in a lot of hours creating this game and someone wants to finish it under an hour lol i wish they'd appreciate the game more
