at the end of the day, it will depend on the person itself if he had fun playing the game.
doing speedruns are actually fun also. after you successfully finished it, you will feel like you achieve something most of the players cant achieve. that feeling is priceless.
It's better not to think about doing the speedrun imo that will only take the fun out of the game
