The attackers in your team fill the role of dealing great damage to your opponents' Pokemon. Ideally, their moves should have high Power and Accuracy in order attack reliably.
Movesets generally consist of a combination of STAB moves, coverage moves, priority moves, stat-boosting moves, and Protect. Also take note if the Pokemon has better Attack or Special Attack, as this is the key to choosing between Physical and Special Moves.

You may want to see how much damage moves will deal to the Pokemon you will face. It is best to remember type matchups, as moves that are super effective will deal more damage.
You may also want to take note of the defensive stats of your opponents' Pokemon. This will also affect whether or not they will take the KO.

Pokemon with high bulk will want to have tools to survive many attacks. Moves such as Recover, Synthesis and Roost can replenish their HP, making them harder to knock out.
You may also use moves that both deal damage and heal your Pokemon. These include the likes of Leech Seed and Giga Drain.

You may see the top moves that tournament players use for specific Pokemon in Pokemon HOME. It may be a good idea to use the rankings as reference when creating your own movesets.
To view this, open the Pokemon HOME mobile app. In the Your Room tab, press the button at the bottom of the screen. From there, select Battle Data, then choose Ranked Battles. Select a Pokemon from the Pokemon Ranking in order to view its top moves.
