Tier List Criteria

The following are the criteria to be met when ranking Pokemon for Online Battles.

Tier Criteria
S Rank Icon S Tier Pokemon have great offensive or defensive stats, versatile moves and learnset, and can outperform other Meta Pokemon.
A+ Tier Pokemon in A+ Tier are common and relevant to the current Meta, but are slightly weaker than S Tier Pokemon either in terms of Stats, Moves, or Abilities.
A Rank Icon Pokemon in A Tier are stronger than the majority of Pokemon, but can often be countered, or lack offensive or defensive stats, making them inferior compared to Pokemon ranked higher.
B Rank Icon In the B Tier, these are the Pokemon that have specific strengths, and are usually picked as counters for common Meta Pokemon.
C Tier C Tier Pokemon have specific niches, making them viable off-meta picks, which can often require specific setups or team compositions.

Mega Greninja is a Physical Attacker that boasts one of the highest Speed Stats in the game currently. Its diverse move pool and Protean makes it a tricky matchup, which can easily provide you with a window of opportunity if the opponent predicts your play incorrectly.

Mega Gengar is a Special Sweeper that makes use of timing to prevent enemy Pokemon from switching out, allowing you to set up for a Sweep. Its high SpA and Speed stat allows you to easily overwhelm opponents, especially when caught off guard.

Gengar is also an extremely viable candidate for Mega Evolution within your team, especially since Gengar can be built and played as an Off-Meta pick in its regular form. This puts your opponents into a tricky spot where they have to decide if your Gengar is built as a Mega Evolve sweeper, or as a Bulky Support.

Mega Charizard Y is a Special Attacker that makes use of Drought to set up Sunlight and drastically boost its firepower. Can easily OHKO squishy targets, even with neutral damage, but can be easily shut down by Rock-Type attacks.

Mega Hawlucha excels in its build flexibility, allowing trainers to play with its Entrainment cheese strategy, or play it as an offensive attacker. Regardless of how Mega Hawlucha is played, it can effectively apply pressure to any opposing team.
