Slicing Moves are primarily physical attacks with the added bonus of providing additional effects that make the move much more lethal to opposing Pokemon. The effects usually vary from dealing a Critical Hit, attacking multiple times, or providing perfect accuracy to attacks.
Slicing Moves also gain an advantage when paired with a Pokemon that has the Sharpness ability, as any Slicing Move is powered up and becomes a much stronger attack.
