|

- | 8 | Removes Ground type resistance and stops certain moves from being used. Lowers the Evasion of all Pokemon on the field by two stages. Gravity also prevents moves such as Bounce, Fly, Flying Press, High Jump Kick, Jump Kick, Magnet Rise, Sky Drop, Splash, and Telekinesis from being used. |

| Rage Powder |
|
- | 20 | The move has a +2 priority and causes the user draws attacks to itself instead of its allies. It does not work if the target is a Grass-type Pokemon, has Overcoat, Stalwart, Propeller Tail abilities, or if the Pokemon has Safety Goggles as a held item. |
| Rain Dance |
|
- | 8 | Activates Rain for five turns. |
| Recover |
|
- | 8 | The user recovers 50% of its max HP. |
| Recycle |
|
- | 12 | The user recycles an already used held item. |
| Reflect |
|
- | 20 | Reduces damage received on the User's side of the field from Physical Attacks by 50% in Single Battles and 33% in Double Battles for 5 turns. |
| Reflect Type |
|
- | 16 | The user changes its type to match the target's type. |
| Rest |
|
- | 8 | The user restores health and heals any status conditions, then falls asleep. |
| Roar |
|
- | 20 | Forces the opponent to switch Pokemon. If used against a single wild Pokemon, this ends the battle. |
| Rock Polish |
|
- | 20 | Increases the user's Speed by two stages. |
| Role Play |
|
- | 12 | The user copies the target's Ability unless the opponent has the Wonder Guard ability. |
| Roost |
|
- | 8 | Heals the user 50% of its max HP. If the user is a Flying type, it won't be considered a Flying type for the rest of the turn. |
| Safeguard |
|
- | 20 | Protects the user from status conditions for five turns. |
| Sandstorm |
|
- | 8 | Activates a sandstorm for five turns. |
| Scary Face |
|
100 | 12 | Lowers the opponent's Speed by two stages. |
| Screech |
|
85 | 20 | Lowers the opponent's Defense by two stages. |
| Shed Tail |
|

- | 12 | The user makes its skin as hard as an iron shield, sharply boosting its Defense stat. |
| Simple Beam |

- | 20 | Hurts the opponent's Pokemon that switch into the battlefield depending on the amount of layers placed by the user. 1 layer damages by 12.5% max HP, 2 layers damages by 16% max HP, and 3 or more layers damages by 25% max HP. The move has no effect on Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate ability. |

90 | 12 | The user badly poisons the opponent. The move has 100 Accuracy if the user is a Poison-type Pokemon. It can hit targets in a semi-vulnerable turn such as Fly or Dig, but it cannot hit through Protect or Detect. |
| Toxic Spikes |
|
- | 20 | Sets toxic spikes that badly poisons the opponent switching into battle. The amount of damage this move does depends on how many layers the user has placed. Badly poisoned Pokemon will receive an increasing amount of damage each turn. In contrast, poisoned Pokemon will receive a fixed amount of damage each turn. |

85 | 16 | This attack burns the opponent. |
| Wish |
|
- | 12 | Heals the user or Pokemon in its place by 50% of the user's max HP in the next turn. |
| Wonder Room |
|
- | 12 | Switches the Defense and Special Defense stats of all Pokemon on the field for five turns. |
| Worry Seed |
|
100 | 12 | Changes the opponent's Ability to Insomnia. |
| Yawn |
|
- | 12 | The target falls asleep at the end of the next turn. |

A Status Move is any move that does not deal damage and instead causes different battle effects, such as increasing or lowering stats, inflicting status conditions, or changing the weather to name a few.
Though often lacking a direct form of applying damage, these moves are still Incredibly useful when applied correctly and are a core part of any good team!
