After You Normal Type IconNormal - 16 Changes the target's spot in the order of moves to make the target move directly after the user, for that turn only. The move can hit through Protect and Detect but cannot hit opponents that use Dig, Dive, Fly, Phantom Force, Shadow Force, and Sky Drop.
Agility Psychic Type IconPsychic - 20 Increases the user's Speed by two stages.
Ally Switch Psychic Type IconPsychic - 16 In a Double Battle, the user switches places with its ally. Fails when used in Single Battles.
Amnesia Psychic Type IconPsychic - 20 Increases the user's Special Defense by two stages.
Aqua Ring Water Type IconWater - 20 The user recovers 1/16th of their HP at the end of each turn.
Aromatic Mist Fairy Type IconFairy - 20 Increases an ally's Special Defense by one stage.
Attract Normal Type IconNormal 100 16 If the opponent is the opposite gender of the user, it becomes infatuated and less likely to attack.
Aurora Veil Ice Type IconIce - 20 Reduces damage received from Physical and Special Attacks by 50% in Single Battles and 33% in Double Battles for 5 turns. This move can only be used during Snow and will continue even if the user switches out, or if Snow ends before this move's effect ends.
Baby-Doll Eyes Fairy Type IconFairy 100 20 Decreases the opponent's Attack by one stage.
Baton Pass Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Switches out the user with another Pokemon in the party while retaining any stat changes.
Belly Drum Normal Type IconNormal - 12 The user sacrifices half of its maximum HP to raise its Attack stat by 6 stages.
Block Normal Type IconNormal - 8 Prevents the target from escaping.
Bulk Up Fighting Type IconFighting - 20 Increases both the Attack and Defense stat of the user by one stage.
Calm Mind Psychic Type IconPsychic - 20 Increases both the Special Attack and Special Defense stat of the user by one stage.
Charge Electric Type IconElectric 100 20 Increases the damage of the user's next Electric type Attack by 100%. Also increases the user's Special Defense by one stage.
Charm Fairy Type IconFairy 100 20 Lowers the opponent's Attack by two stages.
Clangorous Soul Dragon Type IconDragon 100 8 Lowers the user's HP by 33% and increases each stat by one stage.
Coaching Fighting Type IconFighting - 12 Increases the Attack and Defense stat of allies by one stage.
Coil Poison Type IconPoison - 20 Increases the user's Attack, Defense, and Accuracy by one stage.
Confuse Ray Ghost Type IconGhost 100 12 Confuses the opponent.
Copycat Normal Type IconNormal - 20 The user copies the move used just before it in battle.
Corrosive Gas Poison Type IconPoison 100 20 Removes the target's held item.
Cosmic Power Psychic Type IconPsychic - 20 Increases the user's Defense and Special Defense by one stage.
Cotton Guard Grass Type IconGrass - 20 Increases the user's Defense by three stages.
Cotton Spore Grass Type IconGrass 100 20 Lowers the opponent's Speed by two stages.
Curse Ghost Type IconGhost - 12 This attack works differently when used by Ghost-type Pokemon. For most Pokemon, increases the user's Attack and Defense by one stage, but lowers the user's Speed by one stage. For Ghost-type Pokemon, the user loses half their maximum HP to cause the opponent to lose 1/4 of their maximum HP at the end of each turn.
Defog Flying Type IconFlying - 16 Lowers the opponent's Evasion by one stage. Removes Entry Hazards and Barriers on both the user and opponent's side of the field.
Destiny Bond Ghost Type IconGhost - 8 After using this move, if the user is knocked out by an opponent's move on the same turn, that opponent will faint as well. Has a chance of failing if used consecutively.
Detect Fighting Type IconFighting - 8 Protects the user from attacks. Has a chance of failing if used consecutively. Moves such as Acupressure, Doom Desire, Future Sight, Feint, Imprison, No Guard, Perish Song, Phantom Force, Play Nice, Psych Up, Shadow Force, and Transform bypass this move.
Disable Normal Type IconNormal 100 20 Prevents the opponent from using its last move used.
Double Team Normal Type IconNormal - 16 Increases the user's Evasion by one stage.
Dragon Cheer Dragon Type IconDragon - 16 Raises an ally's critical hit ratio by one stage or by two stages if it has a Dragon-typing.
Dragon Dance Dragon Type IconDragon - 20 Increases the user's Attack and Speed by one stage.
Eerie Impulse Electric Type IconElectric 100 16 Lowers the opponent's Special Attack by two stages.
Electric Terrain Electric Type IconElectric - 12 Prevents Pokemon on the ground from sleeping and boosts the effectiveness of Electric-type moves on grounded Pokemon by 30%. Lasts for 5 turns.
Electrify Electric Type IconElectric - 20 The target's moves become Electric-type for the turn.
Encore Normal Type IconNormal 100 8 The opponent repeats their last used move for 3 turns. The move fails if the opponent hasn't used a move, if the last move used has 0 PP, or their move failed.
Endure Normal Type IconNormal - 12 The user survives any attack for a turn, leaving them with at least 1 HP. Has a chance of failing if used consecutively.
Entrainment Normal Type IconNormal 100 16 Changes the target's ability to match the user's ability instead.
Fairy Lock Fairy Type IconFairy - 12 The user and target cannot flee or switch places with other Pokemon during the next turn.
Fake Tears Dark Type IconDark 100 20 Lowers the opponent's Special Defense by two stages.
Feather Dance Flying Type IconFlying 100 16 Lowers the opponent's Attack by two stages.
Flatter Dark Type IconDark 100 16 Confuses the opponent and increases their Special Attack by one stage.
Focus Energy Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Increases the user's critical hit rate.
Follow Me Normal Type IconNormal - 20 The user draws all attacks to itself instead of allies.
Forest's Curse Grass Type IconGrass 100 20 The move adds the Grass-type to the target, making it possible for dual-type opponent to have 3 types.
Gastro Acid Poison Type IconPoison 100 12 Removes the target's abilty.
Glare Normal Type IconNormal 100 20 Paralyzes the opponent.
Grassy Terrain Grass Type IconGrass - 12 Heals 6.25% HP of Pokemon on the ground per turn and increases the damage of Grass-type moves by 30% for five turns.
Gravity Psychic Type IconPsychic - 8 Removes Ground type resistance and stops certain moves from being used. Lowers the Evasion of all Pokemon on the field by two stages. Gravity also prevents moves such as Bounce, Fly, Flying Press, High Jump Kick, Jump Kick, Magnet Rise, Sky Drop, Splash, and Telekinesis from being used.
Growth Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Increases the user's Attack and Special Attack by one stage. Increases the stats by two stages when used during Harsh Sunlight.
Guard Split Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Averages the user's Defense and Special Defense to match the target.
Guard Swap Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Switches changes to the user's Defense and Special Defense stats with the target.
Haze Ice Type IconIce - 20 Resets any changes to stats of all Pokemon in battle.
Heal Pulse Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Heals the target by up to 50% of its max HP.
Healing Wish Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 If the user faints the Pokemon switched in will get healed and status conditions cured.
Helping Hand Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Increases the damage of the ally Pokemon's attack by 50%.
Howl Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Increases the user and ally's Attack by one stage.
Hypnosis Psychic Type IconPsychic 60 20 Puts the opponent to sleep.
Imprison Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Prevents the opponent from using any moves known to the user.
Ingrain Grass Type IconGrass 100 20 Heals the user 1/16 of its max HP every turn. Prevents the user from switching out.
Instruct Psychic Type IconPsychic - 16 Forces the target to use its last move again.
Iron Defense Steel Type IconSteel - 16 Increases the user's Defense by two stages.
King's Shield Steel Type IconSteel - 8 Lowers the opponent's Attack by one stage if the user is hit by physical contact. Fails on consecutive uses.
Leech Seed Grass Type IconGrass 90 12 The user steals 1/8 of the target's HP every turn and recover equal damage dealt. The effect continues even if the Pokemon used is switch out. It has no effect on Grass-type Pokémon.
Life Dew Water Type IconWater - 12 Heals the user and ally by 25% of their max HP.
Light Screen Psychic Type IconPsychic - 20 Reduces damage received on the User's side of the field from Special Attacks by 50% in Single Battles and 33% in Double Battles for 5 turns.
Magic Powder Psychic Type IconPsychic 100 20 Changes the target's type to Psychic instead.
Magic Room Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Nullfiies the effects of any held item for five turns. It also disables moves that use items such as Fling and Natural Gift.
Magnet Rise Electric Type IconElectric - 12 Gives the user Ground type immunity for five turns.
Magnetic Flux Electric Type IconElectric - 20 Increases the Defense and Special Defense of an ally with the Plus or Minus ability by one stage.
Mean Look Normal Type IconNormal - 8 Prevents the opponent from fleeing or switching.
Memento Dark Type IconDark 100 12 The user faints to lower both the opponent's Attack and Special Attack by two stages.
Metal Sound Steel Type IconSteel 85 20 Lowers the opponent's Special Defense by two stages.
Minimize Normal Type IconNormal - 12 Increases the user's Evasion by two stages.
Misty Terrain Fairy Type IconFairy - 12 This protects Pokemon on the ground from status conditions and halves damage from Dragon-type moves for five turns.
Moonlight Fairy Type IconFairy - 8 Restores 50% of the user's Max HP when no weather is in play. Restores 66.6% Max HP if Sunny Day is active. Restores 25% Max HP if Rain Dance, Snowstorm, or Sandstorm is active.
Morning Sun Normal Type IconNormal - 8 Restores 50% of the user's Max HP when no weather is in play. Restores 66.6% Max HP if Sunny Day is active. Restores 25% Max HP if Rain Dance, Snowstorm, or Sandstorm is active.
Nasty Plot Dark Type IconDark - 20 Increases the user's Special Attack by two stages.
Noble Roar Normal Type IconNormal 100 20 Lowers the opponent's Attack and Special Attack by one stage.
Pain Split Normal Type IconNormal - 20 The user and opponent's HP are added together and then distributed equally between the two.
Parting Shot Dark Type IconDark 100 20 Lowers the opponent's Attack and Special Attack by one stage, then the user switches out. It also bypasses Substitute as it is a sound-based move.
Perish Song Normal Type IconNormal - 8 All Pokemon on the battlefield that hear this song will faint in three turns.
Poison Powder Poison Type IconPoison 75 20 Poisons the opponent.
Power Swap Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Switches changes to the user's Attack and Special Attack stats with the target.
Power Trick Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Switches the user's Attack and Defense stats.
Protect Normal Type IconNormal - 8 Protects the user from attacks. Has a chance of failing if used consecutively. Moves such as Acupressure, Doom Desire, Future Sight, Feint, Imprison, No Guard, Perish Song, Phantom Force, Play Nice, Psych Up, Shadow Force, and Transform bypass this move.

Psychic Terrain Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Protects Pokemon on the ground from priority moves and powers up Psychic-type moves by 30% for five turns.
Quash Dark Type IconDark 100 16 The target moves last in the turn. The move fails if it used on a Pokemon that has already moved.
Quick Guard Fighting Type IconFighting - 16 Protects the user and allies from attacks with increased Speed priority.
Quiver Dance Bug Type IconBug - 20 Increases the user's Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed by one stage,
Rage Powder Bug Type IconBug - 20 The move has a +2 priority and causes the user draws attacks to itself instead of its allies. It does not work if the target is a Grass-type Pokemon, has Overcoat, Stalwart, Propeller Tail abilities, or if the Pokemon has Safety Goggles as a held item.
Rain Dance Water Type IconWater - 8 Activates Rain for five turns.
Recover Normal Type IconNormal - 8 The user recovers 50% of its max HP.
Recycle Normal Type IconNormal - 12 The user recycles an already used held item.
Reflect Psychic Type IconPsychic - 20 Reduces damage received on the User's side of the field from Physical Attacks by 50% in Single Battles and 33% in Double Battles for 5 turns.
Reflect Type Normal Type IconNormal - 16 The user changes its type to match the target's type.
Rest Psychic Type IconPsychic - 8 The user restores health and heals any status conditions, then falls asleep.
Roar Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Forces the opponent to switch Pokemon. If used against a single wild Pokemon, this ends the battle.
Rock Polish Rock Type IconRock - 20 Increases the user's Speed by two stages.
Role Play Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 The user copies the target's Ability unless the opponent has the Wonder Guard ability.
Roost Flying Type IconFlying - 8 Heals the user 50% of its max HP. If the user is a Flying type, it won't be considered a Flying type for the rest of the turn.
Safeguard Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Protects the user from status conditions for five turns.
Sandstorm Rock Type IconRock - 8 Activates a sandstorm for five turns.
Scary Face Normal Type IconNormal 100 12 Lowers the opponent's Speed by two stages.
Screech Normal Type IconNormal 85 20 Lowers the opponent's Defense by two stages.
Shed Tail Normal Type IconNormal - 12 The user creates a decoy by sacrificing 25% of the its max HP, and switches out with a Pokemon waiting in the party which will receive the decoy.
Shell Smash Normal Type IconNormal - 16 Increases the user's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed by two stages while lowering the user's Defense and Special Defense by one stage.
Shelter Steel Type IconSteel - 12 The user makes its skin as hard as an iron shield, sharply boosting its Defense stat.
Simple Beam Normal Type IconNormal 100 16 Changes the opponent's Ability to Simple.
Sing Normal Type IconNormal 55 16 Puts the opponent to sleep.
Skill Swap Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 The user and target switch abilities.
Slack Off Normal Type IconNormal - 8 Heals the user half of its max HP.
Sleep Powder Grass Type IconGrass 75 16 Puts the opponent to sleep.
Sleep Talk Normal Type IconNormal - 12 The user uses a random move it knows while asleep.
Snowscape Ice Type IconIce - 8 Activates a snowstorm for five turns and boosts Defense of Ice types while active.
Soak Water Type IconWater 100 20 The user changes the opponent's type to Water type instead.
Speed Swap Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 The user switches Speed stats with the target.
Spicy Extract Grass Type IconGrass - 16 Raises the target's Attack stat by two stages and lowers the target's Defense stat by two stages.
Spikes Ground Type IconGround - 20 Hurts the opponent's Pokemon that switch into the battlefield depending on the amount of layers placed by the user. 1 layer damages by 12.5% max HP, 2 layers damages by 16% max HP, and 3 or more layers damages by 25% max HP. The move has no effect on Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate ability.
Spiky Shield Grass Type IconGrass - 8 The move protects the user from attacks and damages the opponent by 12% of its max HP if the user is hit by physical attacks.
Spite Ghost Type IconGhost 100 12 The opponent's last used move loses 4 PP.
Stealth Rock Rock Type IconRock - 20 Sets rocks that hurt the opponents switching into battle. The amount of damage this move does depends on how weak the opponent is against Rock type moves. The opponent will receive 1/6 damage if the type is not every effective (x0.5), 1/8 damage if the type is neutral (x1), and 1/4 damage if the type is super effective (x2).
Sticky Web Bug Type IconBug - 20 Sets a web that lowers the opponent's Speed by one stage upon switching into the battlefield. The move does not affect Flying-type Pokemon, Pokemon with Levitate ability, and Pokemon with Air Balloon as a held item.
Stockpile Normal Type IconNormal - 20 The user stockpiles power for up to 3 turns max. Increases the user's Defense and Special Defense stats by one stage until Stockpile is released using the Spit Up and Swallow moves.
Strength Sap Grass Type IconGrass 100 12 Heals the users HP equal to the target's Attack stat. Also lowers the target's Attack by one stage.
String Shot Bug Type IconBug 95 20 Lowers the opponent's Speed by two stages.
Stuff Cheeks Normal Type IconNormal - 12 Increases the user's Defense by two stages.
Stun Spore Grass Type IconGrass 75 20 Paralyzes the opponent.
Substitute Normal Type IconNormal - 12 The user creates a decoy by sacrificing 25% of the user's max HP.

Thunder Wave Electric Type IconElectric 90 20 Paralyzes the opponent.
Tickle Normal Type IconNormal 100 20 Lowers the opponent's Attack and Defense by one stage.
Torment Dark Type IconDark 100 16 The opponent can't use the same move twice in a row.
Toxic Poison Type IconPoison 90 12 The user badly poisons the opponent. The move has 100 Accuracy if the user is a Poison-type Pokemon. It can hit targets in a semi-vulnerable turn such as Fly or Dig, but it cannot hit through Protect or Detect.
Toxic Spikes Poison Type IconPoison - 20 Sets toxic spikes that badly poisons the opponent switching into battle. The amount of damage this move does depends on how many layers the user has placed. Badly poisoned Pokemon will receive an increasing amount of damage each turn. In contrast, poisoned Pokemon will receive a fixed amount of damage each turn.
Toxic Thread Poison Type IconPoison 100 20 Poisons the target and lowers their Speed by one stage.
Trick Psychic Type IconPsychic 100 12 The user switches held items with the opponent. The move permanently switches items in wild battles but not in trainer battles.
Trick Room Psychic Type IconPsychic - 8 The user changes the turn order, making the slower Pokemon move first for five turns.
Trick-or-Treat Ghost Type IconGhost 100 20 The target gains the Ghost type. If the target is a dual-type Pokemon, they will have 3 types at once.
Whirlwind Normal Type IconNormal - 20 Forces the opponent to switch Pokemon. If used against a single wild Pokemon, this ends the battle.
Wide Guard Rock Type IconRock - 12 Protects all Pokemon on the user's side of the field from attacks that would hit both Pokemon for this turn.
Will-O-Wisp Fire Type IconFire 85 16 This attack burns the opponent.
Wish Normal Type IconNormal - 12 Heals the user or Pokemon in its place by 50% of the user's max HP in the next turn.
Wonder Room Psychic Type IconPsychic - 12 Switches the Defense and Special Defense stats of all Pokemon on the field for five turns.

A Status Move is any move that does not deal damage and instead causes different battle effects, such as increasing or lowering stats, inflicting status conditions, or changing the weather to name a few.

Though often lacking a direct form of applying damage, these moves are still Incredibly useful when applied correctly and are a core part of any good team!
