Training Pokemon is now streamlined thanks to the new Training System where you choose a Pokemon's stats and moves all in one screen in Pokemon Champions! Read on to learn how to Train Pokemon in Pokemon Champions, as well as more info about the new Training System!

How to Train Pokemon in Pokemon Champions

New Stat Point System

Stat Point System

Pokemon Champions introduces a new Stat Point System, to replace the traditional EV Training which revolves around using different consumables, or defeating certain Pokemon.

The Stat Point system allows players to set a Pokemon's EV Spread, paying VP depending on the designated Stat Points.

What Are Stat Points?

Choose Your Pokemon's Stat Alignment

Stat Alignment Training

From the Training Screen, you can also set a Stat Alignment, which is basically a Pokemon's Nature.

The Stat Alignment selection screen is also displayed in a neat chart, allowing you to easily see which stats will be increased and decreased.

Choose Pokemon Moves

Move Training

You can also choose your Pokemon's Moves from the Training Screen, at the cost of VP.

The Moves you can choose from include all of the Pokemon's Learnset, including those learned via TMs, and other ways.

Choose Pokemon Ability

Ability Training

You can also choose your Pokemon's Ability, but it is currently unknown whether this includes a Pokemon's Hidden Ability.

Finalize Training Using VP

VP Cost for Training

Once you have finished adjusting your Pokemon's Stats, Moves, and Ability, you can then finalize its training by Paying VP.

Making more changes to a Pokemon will cost more VP, so similar to previous games, having a Pokemon with a good initial Stat Alignment and Ability will make it more cost efficient to train.
