Rumors said that he will be in resistance since nicholai will be added and Jill already made it in.
They only ran together, not really fought together. If they put Carlos in resistance, that's your chance to fight alongside Jill.

that would be badass. they want Carlos to be a reliable character for Jill but all he did in that part was to spot for Jill.
that will be a great idea i wished capcom did that not just make carlos an announcer of where nemesis is
imagine at the third fight against nemesis, Carlos will get out of that control room or something to assist Jill at close range.

When you take him out, his heart will be visible. It can save time especially when you are doing a speedrun. aaaaand would you rather have a long battle or a quick one? choose.

You can still beat him though it would be longer. use the mine rounds to deal easy damage on him.
