Sato Koda Shrine Walkthrough: Location and Puzzle Solution

This is a walkthrough for Sato Koda Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW). This shrine's location and puzzle solution, as well as how to get the hidden treasure chest can all be found here.

Sato Koda Shrine Location

You can find the shrine in Upland Zorana. To activate the shrine, you need to clear all four Divine Beasts and start EX Champion Mipha's Song.

	Shrine Solution
1	Enlarge Head down the central area overlooking the puzzle. Use Cryonis to create a block of ice on the first gap.
2	Enlarge Use Cryonis to create a second block of ice under the left side of the first ramp. This prevents it from tipping to the other side.
3	Enlarge Use Cryonis to create a third block uder the lower left ramp to block the ball.
4	Enlarge Use Cryonis to create a fourth block to the lower right of the third ice block. If placed correctly, the ball will roll to the right and into the gap heading down to the launcher. Note: Creating a fourth ice block destroys the first ice block, so make sure to wait until the ball falls on the first ramp before creating the last ice block.
5	Wait for the ball to fall down the launcher and get catapulted to the receptacle.
6	Head to the altar to the right and inspect the shrine to receive Ruta's Emblem.

1	Enlarge Head to the receptacle area where the ball landed. There is a chest sitting on the platform above it.
2	Enlarge Use Cryonis on the wall to create a platforms you can use to head up the platform.
3	Enlarge Climb the platform and open the chest to receive a Giant Ancient Core.
