Kaam Ya'tak Shrine Walkthrough: Location and Puzzle Solution

Kaam Ya'tak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW) is located southwest of the Central Tower in the Central Hyrule Region. Read on to learn more about Kaam Ya'tak Shrine's location, rewards, treasure chests locations, as well as a walkthrough on how to complete it.

You can find the shrine directly southwest of Central Tower at the base of Mount Daphnes just west of Windvane Meadow.

Central Hyrule region is crawling with guardians so make sure you're well-equipped before going to the area.

Walkthrough

	Shrine Solution
1	Drop down to the central area where the large circular boulder is and use Magnesis on its anchor point. Move the anchor point to the right and let go. This causes the boulder to swing towards the doors and open them.
2	Head to the next area with the rolling spike balls. Use Stasis to safely traverse the path. Destroy the Guardian Scouts that appear once you reach the end of the path.
3	On the left side of the room is another boulder resting on a wooden platform. Shoot an arrow to cut the lantern's rope to set the leaves on fire. This will cause the boulder to roll down towrads the doors to the right and open them. Alternatively, you can use a Remote Bomb to knock the lantern down. You can also use any weapon that you have that produces fire to burn the leaves. Before heading to the next room, open the chest to receive an Edge of Duality.
4	Head into the next room and open the chest to receive a Knight's Broadsword. Head up the stairs and dispatch the two Guardian Scouts in the central area.
5	Head north, down some stairs, and use Stasis on the stone bridge to safely cross it. Head to the open area and cross the bridge and activate the motion controls on the platform.
6	The motion controls will move the apparatus' hammer. Swing the hammer towards the mechanism so that it pushes the larger boulder down the end of the apparatus and into the doors. Before entering the next area, open the chest near the doors for an Ancient Core.
7	Pass the door and up the stairs is combination puzzle. Use the lit torch to light an arrow, and shoot through the bars to burn away the leaves and release the boulder. Ready the stone bridge by using Stasis on it. As soon as the boulder rolls down the small platform, stand on the switch so that it jumps to the stone bridge and rolls towards the large doors.
8	Head to the next area and blow up the cracked stone wall to the right for a chest that contains a Silver Rupee.
9	Stand on the switch and use Stasis on the battering ram. Hit it repeatedly with a weapon to propel it towards the stone doors.
10	Head up the stairs and stand in front of the orange switch. Hit it to activate the platform beneath you, propelling you upwards to the shrine. Examine the altar to receive a Spirit Orb.
