Dako Tah Shrine Walkthrough: Location and Puzzle Solution

This is a walkthrough for Dako Tah Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW). This shrine's location and puzzle solution, as well as how to get the hidden treasure chest can all be found here.

Dako Tah Shrine Location

By the Great Cliffs, North of Kara Kara Bazaar

This shrine is found at the Great Cliffs north of Kara Kara Bazaar. Although optional, the shrine quest: The Eye of the Sandstorm will lead you through the sandstorm to this shrine’s whereabouts.

	Shrine Solution
1	Go up the stairs and take out the Guardian Scout to the right of the hallway.
2	Walk to the end of the hallway and you will see a switch being powered by an energy source on the other side.
3	Ride the moving platform to the other side.
4	Grab the source with Magnesis and hold it against the circuit on the wall to keep the platform moving. Do this as you ride the platform back to the other side with the source.
5	Place the source near the switch above to activate the platform. Ride the platform to the top. As you go up, you will pass by a treasure chest containing a Moonlight Scimitar.
6	Take out the Guardian Scouts below with your weapons or you can just throw the source on the metal floor to electrocute them. You can also find a treasure chest below containing an Ancient Core.
7	Push the metal block ahead with Magnesis then bring the source to the next area.
8	Make your way up by riding the moving platform ahead then place the source on the pedestal. Go down the slope and hit the nearby switch to activate the platform below. Ride the platform all the way down to find a treasure chest containing a Silver Rupee.
9	Wait for the platform and ride it to the altar room. Be sure to push the metal block with Magnesis so you don't get electrocuted and fall back down. Before proceeding to the altar, move the metal block back to the left so you can reach a treasure chest containing a Radiant Shield.
10	Examine the altar to receive a Spirit Orb.

Treasure Chest #1

	Dako Tah Shrine Treasure Chest Location #1
1	While riding the elevator that you activate with the energy source, you will pass by this chest.
2	Jump unto the chest's platform and open it to obtain a Moonlight Scimitar.

Treasure Chest #2

	Dako Tah Shrine Treasure Chest Location #2
1	You can find this chest beside the ladder in the same area where you encounter two Guardian Scouts.
2	This chest contains an Ancient Core.

Treasure Chest #3

1	Past the first metal block you need to push and down the ramp is a switch that will activate an elevator going down. Ride this elevator all the way down to find a chest containing a Silver Rupee.
