Rinu Honika Shrine Walkthrough: Location and Puzzle Solution

This is a walkthrough for Rinu Honika Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BotW). This shrine's location and puzzle solution, as well as how to get the hidden treasure chest can all be found here.

Rinu Honika Shrine Location

Southwest of Darb Pond

You can find the shrine southwest of Darb Pond. To get to the shrine, you need to traverse the lava field using metal blocks. To activate the shrine, you need to clear all four Divine Beasts and start Ex Champion Daruk's Song.

Rinu Honika Shrine Walkthrough

	Shrine Solution
1	Enlarge Head north, crouching under the jets of flame and up the set of stairs facing the second jets of flame.
2	Enlarge The left pillar has a breakable boulder holding it up. Use a remote bomb to destroy the pillar to clear the path.
3	Enlarge The next set of flames has a pillar with a metal block holding it up. Use Magnesis on the metal block and use it to block the jets of flame to safely make your way to the next area. Place the metal block on the next area.
4	Enlarge Head to the next area and use Magnesis on the submerged metal block that you used as a stepping stone and place the metal block on the middle part of the wall of flames.
5	Enlarge Use Magnesis on the second metal block to form a roof so that Link can safely pass under the flames.
5	Enlarge Head to the next area with the motion controls. Use the apparatus to flip the path so that the "prongs" on its sides block the jets of flame.
6	Cross the bridge and head to the altar area. Inspect the shrine to receive Rudania's Emblem.

1	Enlarge After passing the wall of fire, use Magnesis on one of the metal blocks and drop it in the lava to the right.
2	Enlarge Use Magnesis on the other metal block and drop it in the lava to form a bridge.
3	Enlarge Climb the ladder and open the chest to receive a Stone Smasher.
