How to Beat G Regicide

Defend Yourself from Firaga and Thundaga

G Regicide primarily uses Firaga and Tri-Thundaga magic as their mode of attack. Equip accessories that resist Fire and Thunder magic. You can also use Wall or MBarrier to further decrease magical damage taken!

Dodge once you see the prompt for Tri-Thundaga

Defeating the G Regicide boss has the same strategy as beating the G Eliminator. Simply dodge their attacks and attack their back to deal a considerable amount of critical hits.

G Eliminator Boss Fight Strategy Guide

Use Battle Stance then Command Materia

You can also deal a significant amount of damage to the G Regicide by timing your Battle Stance with his use of Firaga or Tri-Thundaga, and then using a Command Materia of your own!

Attack Pattern Description
2 Consecutive Attacks 2 consecutive physical attacks with his sword.
Left Claw Attack An arcing swipe with his left claw.
Right Claw Attack An arcing swipe with his right claw.
Claw Attack A two hit swipe with both claws.
Firaga A fire-based magical attack.
Tri-Thundaga A wide lightning-based magical attack.
Stranglehold High damaging physical attack.
