Use Firaga and Blizzaga

Firaga and Blizzaga deal the most damage versus Behemoth due to its large hitbox. Avoid using Thundaga throughout the fight. Keep an eye out whenever the DMW system completelye negates your MP Cost as well for efficiency.

Position Behind for Melee Attacks

Critical Hits occur when you strike enemies with your sword from behind. Wait for Behemoth to start swiping his front, then quickly reposition behind it for a quick counterattack. Try not to stay behind it for too long to avoid getting caught by its tail swipe though.
