Both Divine Slayer and Heike Soul are accessories that require 100% game completion (all missions and the secret boss) as such they're more bonus content than for completion use.

How to Get the Best Accessories

Over 9999 HP: Break the HP Cap with Adamant Bangle

The Adamant Bangle is necessary to take on high difficulty missions due to the extreme damage output from enemies and bosses. Just equipping the Adamant Bangle will not max Zack's HP. You'll need use Materia fusion to raise Zack's HP past the cap.

Nullify Major Status Ailments

Extreme status ailments like Stop and Death become very prevalent towards endgame especially on the higher difficulty missions. Equipping the Super Ribbon accessories or a combination of Hell Blizzaga (or other Hell Materia) + Status Ward is your best bet to completely negate these effects.

Over 9999 Damage: Break the Damage Cap with Brutal

Similar to Adamant Bangle, Brutal will allow Zack to break the 9999 Damage cap, maxing out at 99999 instead, and is also key to clearing high difficulty missions.

Stregthen Ziedrich with Fusion

To take advantage of Brutal's damage cap increase raising Zack's ATK and MAG is important. Using Matera Fusion to further strengthen Ziedrich is the best method to achieve this.

Getting Each Genji Piece

With Adamant Bangle and Brutal equipped, you can now work on getting each Genji set piece.

Best Order to Obtain

Since the gloves and helm are extremely powerful we recommend chasing those first as they'll help with the acquisition of the last 2 pieces. However the Genji Armor will require 100% completion of the DMW Gallery which will take some time.

Defeat the Secret Boss, Get the Divine Slayer

To obtain the Divine Slayer, the final piece of legendary endgame equipment, you'll need to defeat the secret boss using all of the equipment and max Materia you've acquired thus far.
