Use the Keychain and Backpack to Increase Slots

Item Slot Increase How to Get
Keychain 1 Complete M7-2-2 | Search and Destroy II
Backpack 1 Complete M7-2-5 | Operation: Mako Reactor 3

The initial number of slots for equipping accessories are 2, but you can have a maximum of 4 slots by clearing the missions listed above and obtaining the Keychain and Backpack items.

These missions are under the mission category: Seeking Priceless Items, where you can obtain quality items for you to equip and the items that increase the equipped items limit. These missions will be available once you reach Chapter 4 of the story.
