How to Beat Behemoth King

Remove Regen with Dispel

Remove Regen with Dispel

Regen Value
Normal 7423 Hard 41869

The Regen that Behemoth King applies to itself can be canceled with Dispel or Dispel Blade. Regen will expire over time, but because of Behemoth King's large HP pool, and the prolonged effect of Regen, it would be better to Dispel Regen as soon as possible.

Punish Attacks with Stance Counters

Stance→High Jump

Time your Stance with Behemoth King's attacks, and then counter with a damaging ability such as High Jump.

If you find that you're having difficulties with timing your Stances, supplement yourself with a Wall materia as Behemoth King uses mainly physical attacks.

Utilize Gravity and Graviga

Final Fantasy VII Reunion - Magic MateriaGravity Final Fantasy VII Reunion - Magic MateriaGraviga

Both Gravity and Graviga deal damage based off of percentages. This makes them effective tools against enemies with very large HP pools. However, if you don't have damage limitbreaking accessories such as Brutal, the damage caps out at 9999.

Make sure to equip a damage limit breaking accessory whenever you want to use percentage based attacks.
