How to Beat General's Tank

Destroy the Support Machines using Darkness

Crisis Core Reunion - Use Darkness on General

Before attacking the General's Tank, destroy the Support Machines to avoid taking unnecessary damage.

You can use the Darkness materia during Battle Stance to deal AoE damage to the Support Machines! Just make sure to check your HP every now and then as Darkness can drain your HP.

Dodge Sideways and Attack the Back

Crisis Core Reunion - Dodge General

You can avoid Gatling Gun and 203mm Cannon just by moving or dodging sideways until you get to its back. Just like the previous bosses, you can go to the back of the General's Tank and attack to deal Critical Hits.

Use Darkness on the Ability Gauge

Crisis Core Reunion - Eject

The General's Tank limit break, Eject!, will summon Support Machines in battle. The number of Support Machines summoned will depend on how much percentage the Ability Gauge has.

You can use the Darkness materia to deal a huge chunk of damage to the General's Tank's Ability Gauge.
