|
Screen Resolution | Frame Rate | |
---|---|---|
PS5 | 3840x2160 | 60 |
PS4 | 1920x1080 | 30 |
Nintendo Switch | 1280x720 | 30 |
PC | ~ | 30/60/120 |
There is a noticeably large difference in Frame Rates between the PS5 and the other platforms. The game visuals will be laggy or choppy with low frame rates, especially during battles.
For Crisis Core Reunion, the PS5 is consistently shown to have the highest frame rate out of all the platforms, not including the PC where it really depends on your PC Drive.
All Crisis Core Reunion Platforms
The PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch all have different load times when entering battle. On the PS5, there is almost no waiting time when starting a battle and entering Combat Mode.
The PS4 comes second with its much faster load time compared to the Nintendo Switch that has the slowest load time. Like with the Frame Rate Differences, the PC Load Time really depends on the kind of Drive it is installed, with an SSD having a faster and better perfomance than an HDD.
Originally, the functions of the O and X buttons on the PS5 are the opposite of the same buttons on the PS4. In Crisis Core Reunion, the O button is for talking to people on the PS4, while the X button is for the PS5.
However, you can change some button functions through the Settings Menu to the settings that best suit you.

It is confirmed that Crisis Core Reunion can be played on the Steam Deck. We are currently gathering more info on its Load Time and Button Functions compared to the other platforms.
There have been mixed reviews on the game's performance on this platform, but it is said to perform better than the Nintendo Switch.
Although the game itself does not change regardless of the platform you use, we recommend playing on the PS5 or PC through Steam for an overall better experience with its great performance and quality.
The PS5 proves to consistently have better frame rates and load time, while playing on the PC still depends on your PC monitor, model, and drive.
We recommend getting Crisis Core Reunion on the Steam Deck or the Nintendo Switch, depending on which one is available to you, if you want to play the game on the go.
The Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch are very portable, and can be reminiscent of the original Crisis Core game that was released on the PSP, a portable device.
