How to Beat Ifrit
Use Blizzard Materia and Fire Resistant Equipment
Ifrit is weak to the Ice element, so use Blizzard materia to deal as much damage as possible. You should also equip Fire resistant materia as all of Ifrit's attacks are imbued with Fire.

Have Ifrit Charge at You and Dodge
Let Ifrit approach you and once he attacks, dodge back and use your Blizzard Materia to deal damage. Make sure to do it as quickly as possible as Ifrit is a boss with fast movement.
Dodge the Fireballs by Running Sideways
One of Ifrit's attacks allow him to shoot three fireballs once or twice. You can easily avoid it by running towards the left or the right until Ifrit stops shooting.
Use Melee Attacks on Ability Gauge
Use melee attacks such as Zack's Normal Attacks or the Blizzard Blade Materia to easily deplete the ability gauge. You can also cast Blizzard Materia, but do note that it has a slow attack speed.
Ifrit Attack Patterns
| Attack Pattern | Description |
|---|---|
| Two Hit Slam | Ifrit does a fiery uppercut followed by a slam engulfed in flames. |
| Forward Kick | Ifrit moves closer to you and launches a kick. |
| Fireballs | Ifrit fires three balls of flame toward you. |
| Hellfire | A strong Special Ability that deals Fire damage in a wide area. |
