How to Beat G Eliminator

Equip Fire and Lightning Resistant Accessories

Recommended Accessories
Dragon Armlet	Reduces fire, ice, and lightning damage by half. Increases max MP by 40%. Increases Vitality by 5 and Spirit by 15.
Wizard Bracelet	Recovers HP when hit by Fire, Ice, or Lightning Attacks. Increases max MP by 60%. Increases Vitality by 5 and Spirit by 25.

G Eliminator likes to use Firaga and Thundaga spells, so be sure to equip Fire and Lightning resistant accessories!

While it is acceptable to equip Fire and Lightning resistant accessories separately, it is recommended to use the above listed ones instead, as they provide coverage for both elements and free up slots for different accessories.

Alternatively, since both Firaga and Thundaga are magic, smart and timely use of MBarrier may also suffice.

Reduce Physical Damage With Barrier

Apart from relying on Magic attacks, G Eliminator also has a slew of Physical attacks at its disposal. These attacks occur quickly and can be difficult to avoid, so having Barrier up as often as possible is a good strategy.

Attack While Evading Firaga and Thundaga

G Eliminator leans towards spamming Firaga and Thundaga during your encounter. Successfully evading these attacks leaves G-Eliminator vulnerable for punishment!

Counter Firaga and Thundaga With Battle Stance → Use Command Materia

You can do significant amounts of damage to G Eliminator by timing your Battle Stance with his use of Firaga or Thundaga, and then using a Command Materia of your own!

Get More Opennings When G-Eliminator is Out of MP

Even though G Eliminator runs out of MP, it will still try to cast Firaga and Thundaga. Since he has no MP, neither of these spells will actually have any effects. Be ready to take advantage of these opennings, and to deal as much damage as you can.
