How to Deal with Matchmaking Issues

Check your internet connection

Check if you have a stable internet connection on your PC or console. It is recommended to use an Ethernet Cable to connect to the internet if possible.

Check If You Have a PS+ Subscription

On the PS4 you cannot play the game without an active PS+ subscription. Make you you have an active subscription before trying to play the game online.

Restart Your Router

If you are still having problems with the matchmaking, try rebooting your router. This can fix most basic internet issues.

Current Status of Matchmaking

Mastermind Queue

The players with the most connection issues are those queuing as a Mastermind. The Mastermind of the match becomes the host of the game, requiring them to have a better connection than those queuing as Survivors. If you are still experiencing difficulties in queuing as a Mastermind after attempting the steps above, consider queuing as a Survivor instead.

Survivors Queue

The Survivors queue does not have any problems at this time so players should be able to easily get into a match.
