The long wait is over, Tuesday, March 31st, 2020 the game Resident Evil Resistance is now playable on PS4 and capcom has fixed the technical issues it was having before. This issue was also solved for the PC players, just a few hours before the fix was implemented on the PS4.
The game is now available for all target platforms (Xbox One, PS4 and PC)
Originally, Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta was supposed to release on Friday, March 27, 2020 1:00PM (EDT). This was announced together with the Resident Evil 3 Demo release date. Unfortunately, due to some technical issues. Capcom was not able to follow the intended schedule and the Open Beta on both PS4 and PC are delayed. However, Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta is working perfectly on the Xbox One and was unaffected by this issue.
Capcom already apologized regarding this issue and is currently trying to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
They'll have to. If they don't fix it by release, there is going to be huge backlash. Especially with the short single player.
