Wait. Who really thinks with their wallet? I don't. I have this thing called a budget. I have family to feed, clothe, and shelter. I have bills to pay. I think with my brain, so I don't starve. How many of you are kids who don't understand the value of money? How many of you will never have to worry about money for as long as you live? Whoever THOSE people are, they're the ones with wallets for brains.
I think part of the reason it COULD be SHORTER than the ORIGINAL is because of the learning curve. People back then weren't expert gamers and it wasn't easy to access the few and expensive guides that were available. Therefore, games took longer. Today, we have FREE sites like these and demos, and players who were born with controllers in their hands. It's not a mystery why games are easy and easy to get tired of.
This is why I don't understand remakes. If they're gonna remake something, REMAKE them. Don't give us a half-assed piece of BS with better graphics. No one asks for remakes until you announce you're making one.
What I want to know is, do you buy those sh*tty games, like everyone else? Because if you do, just give me your money instead, and I'll provide you with better live entertainment.
Unless you have disposable income, I don't understand how you can afford to buy something for that much and STILL get to eat and live well.

Before all of this hysteria, I had been comfortably using Gamefly to rent games. It's still just as reliable now. I don't know where you live, but if you have Gamefly, it's a cheap way to play without owning. I don't have room to own things anyway. I get tired of games as soon as I'm done with them. Much better to order 2-3 good Japanese meals than pay for a game I know I'll only play once.
i agree, i could not think of the gameplay of this game if it were to be made. i can only think of a clown fiesta for this game.

Did having to carry it in the old one keep you from using other things with your gun/weapon? Never played it so, I don't know if what you're saying is a noticeable improvement.
