I heard they actually updated and changed the safe code. I haven't checked it out myself. But i wonder why would they change the code for the demo.

Do i have to see the picture first before opening it first or i can just proceed to the safe and open it?

Clever little puzzle. The backtracking isnt that far too. I hope there aren't any tedious backtracking. IMO, walking back and forth areas is not fun, even if they add something new along the way.
