Banagher Links Review

Banagher Links is a strong pilot who uses niche mechanics involving critical hits. However, considering the abundance of units that stack evasion and a handful of pilots that provide reaction buffs, skills that depend on getting critical hits to activate are unreliable at best.

Fortunately for Banagher Links, the ranged sense bonus he can stack through critical hits is massive. It more than justifies his being considered a pilot for any mobile suit with high critical hit rates. Depending on the opponent, it's even possible for him to maintain maximum stacks indefinitely.

But before you place him in any random critical-based mobile suit, do note that his most important skill is locked behind the "Unicorn-Type" unit category requirement. And as if that's not enough of a downer, none of the other Unicorn-Type mobile suits aside from the Unicorn Gundam (NT-D) rely on critical hits.

The Unicorn Gundam (NT-D) is a powerful mobile suit that not only works well with Banagher Links' reliance on critical hits, but also has skills that don't completely rely on it to round out their partnership.

On the other hand, the Unicorn Gundam (NT-D) will only really be truly successful with Banagher Links' assistance. His buffs will allow the Unicorn Gundam (NT-D) to get past the 50% critical rate mark and push its damage and EX Gauge recovery to great heights.
