How to Upgrade Armor Sets

Upgrade at Fairy Fountain

You can upgrade an armor you've obtained by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains and giving them the materials needed for the armor you want to upgrade.

The materials needed for each armor upgrade varies and the number of times you can upgrade it depends on how many Great Fairy Fountains you have unlocked.

Great Fairy Map and All Fairy Fountain Locations

Unlock All Fairy Fountains By Paying Rupees

The location of the four Great Fairy Fountains are marked with a yellow triangle in the image above. Once you've found one, interact with the huge flower bud and give the fairy the right amount of rupees to unlock the fountain.

You need a total of 11,600 Rupees to unlock all four Great Fairy Fountains. Once you have found and unlocked all four, you can upgrade your armor to the maximum level.
