How to Get The Old Prefect
Obtained From Exotic Weapon Engrams
The Old Prefect can also be obtained from Exotic Weapon Engrams.
If you do not own The Old Prefect yet, there is a higher chance to obtain it from a Random Engram, but using a Choice Engram can guarantee obtaining The Old Prefect instead.
How to Get Exotic and Mythic Engrams
Gauntlet: Blitz Pinnacle Reward
The Old Prefect can be obtained by completing Gauntlet: Blitz on Normal difficulty.
Work together with other players to clear the raid, and obtain rewards by using 20 Pinnacle Energy to unlock the reward chest at the end.

Gauntlet: Onslaught Weekly Reward
The Old Prefect can be obtained by completing Gauntlet:Onslaught and opening the reward chest at the end with 20 Pinnacle Energy.
Gauntlet:Onslaught rewards can be claimed up to 3x per week, giving you at least three chances per week to obtain The Old Prefect, or a different weapon from the pool.
