Players can make the most Glimmer by playing through the Activity, Morgran's Prey and doing quests for events and bounties in Destiny: Rising. Learn all the ways to farm Glimmer in the game, and what are the best Activities to farm Glimmer here!

Morgran's Prey

Morgran

The main way to farm for Glimmer is through the Activity, Morgran's Prey. This activities allows you to select between Enhancement Prisms or Glimmer as a reward for completing it.

Players strapped on Glimmer can choose to spend their Pinnacle Energy on Mogran's Prey

Other Activity Rewards

Activities Glimmer

Other Activities also can give you for Glimmer as a participation reward along other items like guns or Team EXP. This is a good way to still farm for Glimmer passively if you're aiming for other items or guns in the rewards pool.

Event Rewards

Event Glimmer

Event rewards will often have Glimmer as part of the massive rewards pool tied to easy quests. Make sure to knock these quests out immediately to get easy Glimmer while you do your dailies around the world!

Bounties is another daily activity that offers Glimmer as rewards along with Bounty EXP. This is another method of passive Glimmer farming players can do while doing other Activities or the main campaign.

Handbook Rewards

The main campaign's quests also have Glimmer tied to some of the milestones to them. Once unlocked, Optional Quests in the Handbook offer 200 Glimmer and 10 Lumia Leaves with each completed quest so don't skip on these!

Exchange With Other Currencies

Exchange with Currencies

If you are out of Pinnacle Energy or out of quests to complete for Glimmer, players can also opt to exchange other forms of currency like SPI Tokens from the Pack or Fortuna Dust from drawing to Glimmer.

We do not recommend players do this unless needed as these currencies often have better options for trading over Glimmer!
