| 1 |  Find Calip |
During the day, Calip can be found by the many small statues in the valley between Fort Hateno and Lanayru Promenade. Talking to him will start the quest. You can also talk to him during the night, where he is at his house near Fort Hateno. |
| 2 |  Head to the Statues |
Regardless of where you found Calip, next step after starting the quest is going to the statues. |

 Follow Calip (Optional) |
Optional: Sit by the fire until morning near Calip's house. Wait for him to leave his home and follow him, as he will lead you to the location of the statues. |
| 3 |  Wait until night |
The cursed statue will only show itself when the night falls, so wait until night or light a bonfire to speed things up. |

| 4 |  Destroy the Cursed Statue |
Hit the statue with glowing purple eyes using a bow and arrow to destroy it. After destroying the statue, a shrine will emerge from the ground, and that will complete the quest. |
Complete the quest to unlock the Kam Urog Shrine.
