Talk to Eremita

Speak with the man sweeping the pathway and ask about the treasure you overheard him talking about. He introduces himself as Eremita, and agrees to share the treasure's location with Nikki after she proves herself by purifying some nearby Esselings.

Purify the Esselings

Head toward the nearby slope and purify 3 Esselings with the Purification ability. Report back to Eremita afterward, then be sent on your way to the treasure's location.

Search for the Cavern That Eremita Mentioned

Follow the quest marker toward a cave entrance near the Dream Warehouse and proceed inside with treasures abound!

Search for Treasures in the Cavern

Follow a straightforward path within the cavern, making sure to purify any Esselings in your way, and jump on every platform until you reach the top of the cave. You will be greeted by a gang of Esselings guarding the treasure chest. Purify them to successfully unlock the chest and claim its contents.

Leave the Cavern

Leave the cavern by jumping down a hole beyond the unlocked chest. This will lead you directly back to the cave's entrance.

Go to Eremita

Return to Eremita and speak with him once more to discuss the treasure you acquired. He will tell you about Whim Fragrances and explain its purpose, then ask you to craft a fragrance of your own.

Acquire the Traveler's Musings Sketch in the Heart of Infinity

Access the Heart of Infinity via its icon on the top right of your screen, and select the Traveler's Musings Sketch node right beside the Wind of Purity Sketch node. Spend 1 Whimstar and 10,000 Bling to unlock your first Whim Fragrance.

Craft Traveler's Musings

Select the Sketches icon on the top right of your screen, and navigate toward the Whim Fragrance tab. From there, select the Traveler's Musings sketch and craft it with the following materials: 1 Herbal Secnt, 20 Tricky Patches, and 50 Threads of Purity.

Optional: Equip the Traveler's Musings

Head into your inventory by selecting the Wardrobe Icon at the top right of your screen, and navigate toward the Whim Fragrance tab. Equip the available fragrance shown on the right, and hit the Save button on the lower left side of the screen. Equipping a Whim Fragrance will add a special combat effect, so be sure to craft and equip them when you get the chance!

Talk to Eremita

You may equip the Traveler's Musings first in your wardrobe before speaking to Eremita, though you can also speak with him immediately after crafting the fragrance. The quest will conclude after your conversation, allowing you to claim the quest rewards!
