How to Solve Whimstar Ball Puzzles

Approach a Whimstar Ball

Approach Whimstar Ball
To start the puzzle, walk toward a Whimstar Ball. When you get close enough to it, the camera will shift to a top-down view and the immediate area will be marked with a radiating yellow circle.

Look For a Star-shaped Object

Star-shaped Object
Look for an object within the marked area that's in the shape of a star. The object can be anything like graffiti, floral arrangements, or decorations so be sure to pay attention to your surroundings.

Investigate the Object

Once you find the star, walk up to it and investigate. A beam of light will shoot out of the object toward the ball and transform it into a Whimstar.

Pick Up the Whimstar

Whimstar Obtained
Head back to the ball's location and claim your Whimstar!
