Unlock in Unexplained Coma Incidents

Factions unlock during the Unexplained Coma Incidents Sub Quest under Chapter 1: Wishes Without Wings Main Quest! Here, we beat Kadru, the Quick Cutter of the Ebony Scissors faction.

This was also the player's general introduction to styling challenges.

How Do Faction Challenges Work

Faction Challenge Guide

Pick A Faction and Member

To get started, you must be on the map where the faction members are. For example, if you wish to challenge Legrand from the Ebony Scissors Faction, you must be in Florawish to track him.

Otherwise, it will say that the member is Busy at the moment. Note that some will also only be available at a certain time. You'll need to adjust the time through the Run, Pear-Pal function.

Head to the Tracked Location

Once you have them located down, track them on the map and teleport to the nearest Warp Spire, then talk to them to start the challenge.

Read the Dialogue Carefully

Try to read the dialogue or at least skim through it to get an idea about the theme or the stat type your opponent will have.

Put Together a High Stat Outfit

After checking the stat type, put together the outfits with the highest stats you can find. It does not matter what their main stat is. The higher the stat is, the better, even if the outfit has little coherency.

How to Raise Stats

To raise your clothing stats, you can level clothing pieces or even entire outfits up in the Glow Up feature or raise your Eurekas to a high level for additional stats!

Get Perfect to Get All Rewards

Each challenge will have different rewards, and some will have a sketch for an outfit of the same theme as the area!

Each Area Has a Stat Type Theme

Each area has a main stat that they adhere to. For example, for Florawish, that's Cool, and for Breezy Meadows, it's Elegant!

Unlock Clues About the Factions

Looking at the other factions, you'll see that some are empty. This means we learn more about the factions in the game as we defeat more of them!

Defeat All Factions to Get to the Sovereign

Each area has a Sovereign that adheres to a stat type, who is the boss of that area. If you beat the factions in an area, more information and members that follow them get unlocked!

Sovereigns also drop the Sovereign's Medal which can be used to exchange for Wishful Aurosa materials

Take Note of the Lore and Ties

From the Pear-Pal Tablet, you'll see that each faction has lore and relationships with other factions. Each member's details are also included in the faction section.
